fi rst look at the seat and tank unit together on the bike, the red tank is a gel coat finish , not the final colour. seat unit and airbox underneath the seat is a unit i designed in cooperation with DTR performance panelcraft in Devon, great metal work guy who will custom make metal bits for you ! thanks Dave !

Swing arm fitted to frame, new bearings fitted and adjusted along with new oil seals, spacers, with new swingarm pivot bolts and lots of copper slip !

Manifolds and gearbox mounts

Fitted the cnc manifolds, these are from Radical Guzzi 40mm, the gearbox mounts supplied from Bormi Racing in Italy, nickel plated. Ready for the frame now !

Gearbox to engine fit

Mated up the Raceco rebuilt gearbox to the engine. last time to see the lightened flywheel, ring gear set up before its all bolted together, plus all new clutch internals, standard type. Decided to paint the gearbox black and fitted with either stainless or drilled aluminium nuts, bolts, fillers etc.

Mk2 Le Mans engine rebuild completed today. All cases vapour blasted, all new bearings, oil pump. Heads completly overhauled, all new parts. mild tune with Raceco SS2 cam, lightened flywheel, 41mm flat slide carbs, Sachse electronic ignition, deep sump.
should make a nice little motor, a bit more of a blast than standard and fun to ride !

Finally, a complete engine, thanks Nigel at NBS guzzi for the build.

Bormi Racing in Italy supplied me with a pair of their gerabox mounts for the Tonti frame, this allows for the bottom frame rails to be deleted, saving weight and looks great ! i had them nickel plated and polished, why not hey !
